If you are interested in joining our lab as a graduate student the best way is apply through the Department of Biology through the Ecology & Evolution track. Information on application for graduate studies can be found here. We are very interested in creating a diverse and inclusive environment in our lab and encourage inquiry and applications from people with a variety of backgrounds and interests. For first generation or low-income students we recommend checking out the Biology Preview Program which is intended to demystify the PhD application process. For undergraduate students at Stanford there are a number of ways to join the lab. We often have paid research positions associated with funded grants and are always interested in students with Federal Work Study support. In addition, funded Spring and Summer research positions are available through the BSURP program and we are happy to support Honor's thesis projects through the VPUE Major Grant. Interested students should email Dr. Peay or other lab members.
